Blackberry or Crackberry?

Are you one of the millions of Blackberry users who experienced one of the service outages this month? I noticed the first incident but the second service interruption came and went before I noticed any problem. “This is terrible. I’m not connected.” The phone worked , what’s the big deal?

Why do I use a Blackberry? Do I really need to be connected to the world at all hours? Someone is in my office during publicized office hours to address client issues.  What if a client needs a quick answer to a question after hours? Should the client have to wait until “official” office hours?

Holiday gift reminder:

Have you purchased cables for any new computer toys? That new printer might need a USB cable. Do you need a new Ethernet cable for any new computers? If you bought a laptop, don’t expect the wireless connection to work unless you have a wireless router. You may be able to piggy back on your neighbor’s wireless network but you should ask your neighbor before becoming a free loader.

Don’t forget a good surge protector for that new computer.

While surfing on the Internet, a window suddenly pops up on your computer that indicates your computer is infected with a virus. What do you do? Don't click on anything except the red x in the upper right corner.
